An update to last week’s confrontation on Adaline Street
On February 22, 2022, deputies with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office were involved in a use of force incident which included the discharge of a firearm in the 200 block of Adaline St.
At today’s media briefing additional details including the identity of the suspect and name of the deputy involved was released. Included with this digital press release is a link which includes the presentation document, photographs and a video.
Since this is an ongoing criminal investigation, at this time, no additional information is planned to be released by this office.
As is customary in an incident such as this an independent investigation is being conducted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Nevada State Police.
