Electric Powered Vehicles are making formidable landings in Nevada
The Nevada Legislature has taken a bold step toward electric powered cars and trucks, especially in Las Vegas and CARSON CITY, no less. According to state elected officials the installation of electric “charging stations” will number 60, divided up between Carson City and the Las Vegas area. And half of those charging stations will be accessible to the public. The rest likely will be awarded to state employee usage.
As for “who is going to pay the bill” it’s been announced that $1.2 Million will be coming from federal grant awards through the State Energy Office and NV Energy. We’ll see how quickly electric vehicles become all-the-rage.
